The VT1300 Interstate has a proper story behind it. Honda first launched the VT1300 platform with the Fury, then expanded the family with the Sabre, Stateline and Interstate. All four shared the same 1312cc liquid-cooled 52-degree V-twin, a motor derived from the earlier VTX1300 line, but Honda updated the VT1300 family with PGM-FI fuel injection and wrapped that dependable engine in four very different personalities. The whole idea was to give riders custom-cruiser style with proper Honda engineering and everyday usability.

In simple terms, the Fury was the radical factory chopper, long, low and built to turn heads. The Sabre took things in a more muscular, pro-street direction. That is why the Interstate is the highest-specification VT1300 and the one to have if you want comfort, luggage capacity and proper distance ability as well as cruiser style.

Honda UK officially announced the VT1300CX Fury for the UK market, and Honda UK’s archived previous-model list shows the VT1300CX in its UK model history, but not the Interstate.
