About American Cruiser UK

Father & son.Florida roots.UK ready.

American Cruiser UK is Adam and Roger Raggett — a father-and-son team working together to find distinctive American-market cruisers, bring them to the UK and prepare them properly for their next rider.

Roger founded the business in 2016. Adam joined Roger in the business in 2021 during COVID to help take American Cruiser UK to the next level. Both have lived in Florida, and both bring trusted contacts and first-hand knowledge from both sides of the Atlantic.

Meet the team

Two generations. One shared obsession.

American Cruiser UK is deliberately personal. There is no faceless buying team and no corporate hand-off — Adam and Roger are involved in what comes in, how it is prepared, and how it is presented to customers.

Roger Raggett · Founder

Florida experience since 2001.

Roger moved from the UK to Florida in 2001 and became a licensed cruiser motorcycle dealer. A chance encounter with the Honda Rune at Daytona Bike Week in 2005 sharpened his eye for unusual, high-spec American-market cruisers. When he returned to the UK in 2016, he founded American Cruiser UK after seeing just how limited the choice was for British cruiser enthusiasts.

Adam joined Roger in the business in 2021 during COVID, bringing a fresh drive to grow the company while keeping the family-run approach intact. Having also lived in Florida, Adam shares Roger’s knowledge of the US market and works alongside him across sourcing, UK preparation, sales and the customer journey.

Our story

From Florida roads to UK riders.

The business has grown, but the idea behind it has stayed simple: use genuine knowledge and trusted relationships to find the cruisers that are difficult to find here.

2001

Florida becomes home

Roger sells his UK business, moves to Florida and becomes a licensed cruiser motorcycle dealer — gaining first-hand experience of the American market.

2005

The Honda Rune moment

At Daytona Bike Week, a blue Honda Rune with chrome pack becomes the catalyst for seeking out more distinctive and unusual cruisers.

2016

American Cruiser UK begins

Back in Britain, Roger imports two bikes that were not readily available here. Both sell within a week, confirming there is real demand.

2021

Roger & Adam join forces

During COVID, Adam joins Roger in the company with the aim of taking American Cruiser UK to the next level while keeping it personal.

Today

One team, both sides of the Atlantic

Adam and Roger work together using contacts in Florida and the UK to secure distinctive cruisers and prepare them here for the UK market.

How we work

Two sides of the Atlantic. One standard.

Our advantage is not simply that we import motorcycles. It is that Adam and Roger understand the market at both ends of the journey — where the bikes come from and what UK riders expect when they arrive.

01
Find the right bikesWe use established contacts, owner networks and market knowledge to identify distinctive, well-kept American cruisers.
02
Bring them homeOnce secured, the motorcycles make their way to our Wiltshire base for the next stage of the process.
03
Prepare them for UK ridersBikes are inspected, serviced where required, detailed and prepared before they are offered as Current Stock.
Florida knowledge.
Wiltshire preparation.

Both Adam and Roger have lived in Florida and have contacts there and here in the UK. That gives American Cruiser UK a genuine bridge between the two markets — not just an import route.

What matters to us

The bikes come first. So do the people.

We want buying an imported cruiser to feel exciting, not uncertain. The whole business is built around making unusual motorcycles easier to find and easier to buy with confidence.

01
Hand-picked

Interesting bikes, not filler stock

We look for condition, specification, rarity and character — the kind of cruiser we would be excited to own ourselves.

02
Knowledge

Experience on both sides

Years spent in Florida and the UK give us a practical understanding of the bikes, the market and the importing process.

03
Preparation

Ready for the UK market

Our job does not end when a bike lands. It is prepared here before it becomes part of our Current Stock.

04
Family service

Talk to the people behind it

Customers deal directly with Adam and Roger — the same people involved in finding, buying and preparing the motorcycles.

Our mission

Make great cruisers easier to find in Britain.

For years, UK riders have had a much smaller choice of big, distinctive American-market cruisers than riders in the United States. American Cruiser UK exists to close that gap — bringing more choice, more unusual specifications and more genuinely interesting motorcycles to British enthusiasts.

We want the experience to remain personal as we grow: choose carefully, prepare properly, be straightforward with customers, and never lose the enthusiasm that started the business in the first place.

“Find the bikes we would want to own — then make them accessible to UK riders.”

That is still the simplest way to explain what Adam and Roger are trying to build together.
