2016 Kawasaki GTR1400

We took this Kawasaki GTR1400 in part exchange for a Victory Cross Roads that we had in stock.

It isn’t the cruiser style that we normally deal in but it was just too good to trade so I thought we would have a go with it ourselves.

In 2018 they discontinued this model in Europe and it seems that the 2015 model onwards is the one to have.

Kawasaki made numerous minor changes in 2015 that include a revised first gear ratio that is shorter to take advantage of the massive torque for smoother starts, revised fuel mapping to match the transmission and catalyzer changes, different steering stem seal for lighter steering at low speed, stiffer rear suspension for enhanced carrying capacity, an adjustable vent in the windshield, revised ABS programming to reduce the linked braking effect, a new rear luggage base, silver bezels on the analog dash meters, elongated mid-pipe heat shield, change of warning lamp color from red to yellow, tank pad, cushions on passenger pegs, and a revised seat that is narrower at the front with a flatter seat area that will allow riders to reach to the ground.

On top of all this the bike has a great specification including heated grips and an electric moveable windscreen (check the video).
