Super Low Mileage

All electric Motorcycle.

If you are looking forward and would like to invest in what will become a piece of industrial history look no further.

Zero started limited production of electric bikes in California in 2010, this is a full production 2011 model that unbelievably still holds a full charge in its original battery and still turns on and moves under its own power (Most early electric batteries “brick” due to either too much use or not being maintained regularly).

The original Zero S offers a unique and eco-friendly riding experience. With its sleek design and then advanced technology, it stands out as a pioneer in the electric motorcycle industry.

One of the standout features of the early Zero S is its electric drivetrain. Powered by a lithium-ion battery pack, it delivers instant torque and smooth acceleration. The absence of a traditional internal combustion engine results in a quiet and vibration-free ride, enhancing the overall comfort and enjoyment.

The range of the Zero S is impressive for its time, allowing riders to travel up to 43 miles on a single charge. While this may seem limited compared to traditional gasoline-powered motorcycles, it was a significant achievement in the early days of electric motorcycles. Additionally, the battery can be easily swapped or charged using a standard electrical outlet, making it convenient for daily commuting or short trips.

Handling-wise, the this bike offers a nimble and agile ride. Its lightweight construction and well-balanced chassis make it easy to maneuver through city streets or twisty roads. The suspension setup provides a comfortable ride, absorbing bumps and imperfections on the road.

In terms of design, the it has a modern and minimalist aesthetic. Its clean lines and compact profile give it a futuristic look. The instrument cluster provides essential information such as speed, battery level, and range, while the overall layout is intuitive and user-friendly.

One area where the Zero S may fall short is in terms of top speed. With a maximum speed of around 67 mph, it may not satisfy riders looking for high-performance capabilities. However, it’s important to note that the focus of the Zero S is on efficiency and sustainability rather than outright speed.

Zero claims that the battery will last for 1,800 drained-to-full charges. At 25-40 miles per charge, that would get you 45,000-72,000 miles from the Power Pack before it needs replacing (not that you would probably ever do that sort of mileage!).

Overall, a groundbreaking electric motorcycle that showcases the potential of zero-emission transportation. While it may not have the range or top speed of its modern counterparts, it laid the foundation for the advancements we see in electric motorcycles today. For riders seeking an eco-friendly and efficient mode of transportation, this bike is a good value compelling choice.

This bike in particular came to us via a contact that we purchase selected cruisers from in St Augustine Florida, we noticed it when we were being shown a cruiser in the background and decided we needed to add it to our collection!

100% original, fully MOT’d and UK registered we know its the only one this old in the UK, probably Europe. Perfect as a museum piece or private collection.
